Physical therapist, Dry Needling Cert.
Born in Cantù in 1999 and living in Como, Luca developed a passion for sports from a young age, practicing competitive soccer and swimming starting at the age of 5. His sports career led him to play professional soccer, spending 8 years at Como, 1 year at Pro Patria, and 2 years at Monza. During these years, due to injuries, he had the opportunity to get closer to the world of physical therapy.
Graduated in Finance and Marketing, he enrolled in university in Lugano, where he obtained a BSc in Physical Therapy in 2022. During his studies, he completed internships in Italy and Switzerland in various fields: from elderly home care, to training at Villa Beretta and Galeazzi, prestigious hospitals specializing in neurology and orthopedic-traumatology, as well as experiences in respiratory, oncology, and even intensive care. During his internships in private clinics, he found his preference for the rehabilitation field, which led him to be employed in the Mendrisiotto area, where he worked from 2023 to early 2025.
During these years, Luca worked as a physical therapist for a soccer team in Italy during his university studies and, starting in the 2022/2023 season, became the official physical therapist of AS Novazzano. He gained solid experience working with both professional and amateur athletes, providing support in patient education, contributing to injury prevention, and intervening in functional recovery to optimize athletic performance and ensure better execution of technical movements.
Attentive to professional development, he attended a Masterclass in Neck Pain and Headache, two Dry Needling courses, and is currently enrolled in a course to become a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT).
Passionate about sports and the gym, he loves spending time with others and dreams of traveling the world.
Luca joined the Sports Rehab team in 2025.
